All of our activities helps each person shift to a more positive and holistic view of  Fitness.

Holistic: is a word used to describe things that are linked together. In reality, body, mind and spirit are completely intertwined aspects of the whole person. Many people are now recognising the connections between the body mind, spirit and how each has the power to affect the other.

 

 

FITWALK  

is our seasonal walking club

The ancient Greek physician Hippocrates said, ‘Walking is man's best medicine’. Today there is loads of scientific evidence supporting what was probably a wise mans gut instinct – this research shows walking can help us live a healthier more active lifestyle.

FITWALK is designed to help you become proactive with regard your overall wellbeing.  Many are now calling walking the perfect exercise as it is restorative and invigorating. This has been highlighted by the BBC who have promoted walking as a positive lifestyle choice that is now being activily encouraged throughout Scotland.

 

Dynamic Bootcamp  =  empowering workouts that enable you to take positive action and achieve fitness goals. The Bootcamps are designed to work a person’s whole body at their own pace. We can also create mum and baby fitness packages on request, great for new mums or families who want to workout together.

 

The outcome is always: effective physical action that allows you to challenge yourself - gain more strength, flexibility and stamina.

 

The equipment we work with is very adaptable and can be used for different age groups, abilities and fitness levels, we enjoy ensuring your fitness experience is fun & beneficial.

 

PILATES

is a key to a healthier lifestyle through mindful movement. At Aurora we use the mat system and a variety of small equipment.

 

It is a safe, exercise system that will help you look and feel your best.

 

It teaches - core strength - body awareness - helps you create a toned body - good posture - improves flexibility - relieves stress and tension – includes breathing exercises which helps your mind and body work in harmony.
